Jim, aka MacGyver, has been around boats his entire life. Growing up in North
Weymouth, he has always been drawn to the water and everything that swims,
crawls or floats on it. He has been repairing and maintaining boats for as long as he
can remember, starting with his Dad’s. Jim’s been a marine technician for over 31
years. His expertise includes, but is not limited to:
• Electronics and Electrical Systems
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Mechanical Systems, including Inboard, Gas, Diesel, Stern Drives and
Outboards
• Winterization and Shrink Wrap
• Factory Service Training includes: Yamaha, OMC, Honda, Suzuki, Volvo,
Mercruiser, Kohler Generators, CruisAir Marine HVAC Systems.
Jim earned his Master Technician Certificate from Mercruiser in 2005.
When he is not working on boats, Jim enjoys fishing and building custom electric
guitars and amps
