Description
The Grady-White Tournament 205 is especially designed to be a great value package with a Yamaha 150 Four Stroke and High Pressure Direct Injection (HPDI) outboard. The Tournament 205 features a large bow seating area with standard cushioned seats. Under the cushions at starboard is a huge insulated, overboard-draining 83-quart ice box, big enough to accommodate a lucky day's catch or all the refreshments a family could need. The portside cushion hides a spacious storage area. A low bow rail makes a great handhold, and nobody will have to tell the fishermen that the low rail makes the forward area double as a nice casting area. Grady-White's handy, easy to use anchor locker is another safety feature at the bow. The starboard console houses a huge dry storage area. The helm has easy to read backlit instruments and a standard 12V outlet that is great for extra lights, charging cell phones, or a CD player to make the teenagers happy. A very comfortable pedestal seat and a nice heavy-duty stainless wheel add to make the helmsman safe and satisfied. There is also a dry storage drawer located under wheel. The companion seating is comfortable and roomy. The spacious cockpit is nearly 50 square feet, and with the horizontal rod racks and gunwale mounted rod holders, there is room for plenty of fishing rods. All cleats are recessed for safety. Jump seats with backs are located port and starboard of the motor well. The superb safety and seaworthiness of the Tournament 205 stems from Grady-White's exclusive variable-vee SeaV2 hull that provides a great ride and stability at any speed, and undoubtedly an added level of confidence no matter what the activity or crew aboard.

Matt has been boating since he was 7 years old, taking his maiden voyage on a 1954 18' Lyman Islander with his Dad out of the Fore River and across Hull Gut. They motored towards the South Shore of Massachusetts where he summered for the majority of his teen years. He later moved to Connecticut where he continued boating along the Connecticut shoreline. Matt's love of the water extends from swimming to fishing to boating, covering all aspects. He has an extensive sales career, and thoroughly enjoys helping people find just the right boat for their needs.
